Thibodaux Laser and Surgery Center is a licensed, Medicare-certified Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) and the primary facility for Advanced Eye Institute’s outpatient ophthalmic surgeries, licensed by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals. Our team of registered nurses and surgical technicians specialize in cataract, glaucoma, eyelid, corneal, and refractive eye surgeries. Located next to the Advanced Eye Institute Clinic, we offer convenient access for patients. We are proud to be the only outpatient surgical eye care facility in Thibodaux.

Pre-operative appointment
Please arrive at your designated appointment time at Thibodaux Laser and Surgery Center, located directly next to the Advanced Eye Institute Clinic in Thibodaux. This visit serves as an opportunity to become familiar with our location and allows for gathering all necessary information prior to your procedure.
Please bring your photo ID, insurance cards, and any eye drops you are currently taking, as well as any eye drops prescribed during your surgical consult. The surgery date, pre-op guidelines, and eye drop schedule will be confirmed before the surgery. The day before your surgery, a staff member will call with your arrival time for the procedure.
